I don't know anything about web sites or web design. Does this matter ?
Absolutely not. You need to know your business and your target market. We'll handle the rest.

How long will it take to get my business web site up and running ?
This depends on the size and complexity of the web design. A small 5 page web site similar to this one would take around 15 days to implement.

My budget is limited but I really want a web site. Can you help ?
Yes we can. We are totally transparent about how we charge so if you tell us exactly how much you can spend and what you require, we'll tell you if its possible.

Do you write the content, design the logo and supply the pictures for my web site ?
The text content must come from yourself but we will help with the style of writing and grammar if required.

If you need a logo, we can create one for you. If its a simple logo we will supply free of charge.

It's always good to have some pictures of your products to use in the web site. We can accept  prints or digital media. If you need some help in this area, we have the equipment to take some digital pictures for you.

Do you offer a discount for not-for-profit and registered charities ?
We offer a significant discounts for worthy causes. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Can I start with a small web site and expand it when my business requires it ?
Yes. You can start off with a one page web site if required and build on it.

I don't like my current web site. Can it be enhanced for a limited cost ?
Yes. We always strive to offer excellent value for money. All you need to do is tell us the address of your web site and what you like / dislike and we will analyse the site for you and feedback our results with some costing's.

What are the ongoing costs if any ?
When the web design has been completed and is live on the Internet, the only ongoing costs are:

1. Web site hosting - this currently costs around £50~60 per year
2. Domain name re-registration - around £5 per year
3. Any significant changes or additions to the web site

What if i want some changes to the web site later on ?
No problem. Just get in contact with us.

We offer a certain number of minor edits per year free of charge.

For big major changes we will charge a very competitive rate.

You could make the changes yourself but in the past we have had some desperate phone calls asking us to reload the original web site because they messed it up.

How will people find my web site ?
This is one of the most important elements of your business web site - getting potential customers to it. There's no point in having a web site that looks good but no one can find it.

Sticking to just the Internet, there are three things you can consider: search engine optimisation, linking with other web sites, free directory submission, inclusion into online business directories and pay-per-click advertising.

Of these, search engine optimisation is absolutely critical but the results can vary on how competitive your market is.

Be wary of anyone selling optimisation services that guarantees a top 10 position ! The only way you can know what your position is going to be is by researching, implementing and then waiting.

What is an online directory ?
This is basically an Internet based yellow pages. You pay a fixed price for one year and they will list your business.

There are free directories as well and we submit your web site to the decent ones as part of our package.

What is "pay-per-click" advertising ?
Pay-per-click advertising is simple.

Each time someone clicks on your advert, you have to pay the advertising agency a small fee.

Your adverts are listed on the search engine pages and other relevant web sites.

You define a maximum monthly allowance and this is your advertising cost per month - even if nobody clicks on your advert !

When a user types in "red widget" into a search engine web site, the web site will return a list of relevant web sites to do with "red widgets". In addition to this list, the first 2 or three entries are pay-per-click adverts about "red widgets".
